SanctionsNorth has no user accounts, sets no cookies and uses no third-party analytics or advertising. This page explains the little that is processed.

What you send us

Names and other details you submit for screening are processed in memory to produce the response and are then discarded. They are not stored, logged or used for anything else.

What we log

• Request path (for example /v1/screen), the names of the query parameters used (not their values), HTTP status, response time and your client's user-agent string.
• A one-way hash of your IP address, salted with a random value that changes every day, so visits can be counted for one day but not linked across days or back to the IP.
• Request logs are deleted after 90 days.

Payments

For paid requests we keep a record of the payment: paying wallet address, amount, endpoint, time and blockchain transaction hash. These details are already public on the Base blockchain. We keep payment records for accounting. To verify and settle payments, the signed payment authorization is sent to Coinbase's x402 facilitator (Coinbase Developer Platform), which processes it under its own privacy terms.

Where it runs

The service is hosted on Fly.io in Toronto, Canada. Public source data is downloaded from the official publishers listed in the Terms.

Sharing

We do not sell or share the data above, except with the service providers named here to run the service, or where required by law.

Your choices

Because we do not store request content or identify individual users, there is normally nothing personal to access or delete. If you have a question about a payment record linked to your wallet address, open an issue at https://github.com/tendertrail/support/issues with the transaction hash.
